The following restaurants purchase olive oil from Real Good Food:
The reviews for these restaurants that appear on this site were written before I went into the olive oil business. I've eaten at them since then, and I stand by my original opinions.
But when I sell oil to a restaurant, I tell the owner that I can never write about the place again. That would be a clear conflict of interest, and while some people think the term is an oxymoron, I think journalistic ethics are important.
Fortunately, none of these restaurants really count on my reviews for business. They're among the best places to eat in Portland, and they've all received glowing reviews from other writers.
Of course, that could be because they use such great olive oil.
